When the zirconium is transformed and toughened, it offers a low coefficient of friction and a hardness that prolongs blade life up to 100 times longer than steel. Zirconium ceramic is extraordinarily resistant to wear, and its initial cost is often offset very quickly. If you're slitting film or pills, you need blades that hold their sharpness. Although many companies use steel blades, zirconium ceramic offers superior corrosion resistance. The slit edges you get when you use a ceramic blade are sharper and crisper than those you'll get with virtually any other type of blade. Our blades have all been designed to take maximum effect from their geometry, with a double bevel edge. Choose from our zirconia injector blade, circular blades, and pointed tip blades.
