We carried out numerous experiments to determine the grade of tungsten carbide that offered maximum performance, and offer it to you in a wide variety of blade shapes. The tungsten carbide blades we currently offer are alloyed with six to 15 percent cobalt, producing a typical hardness of 75-80 Rc. With extremely high wear resistance, tungsten carbide's only flaw is a varying shock resistance. However, for applications that are cutting soft materials, this might not be a factor at all.
